Ceasefire violations | Rebels shell regime positions in southern Idlib, and regime forces renew shelling Jabal Al-Zawiyah and Sahl Al-Ghab

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored rocket fire by opposition factions in the early hours of Sunday morning, targeting regime positions in Al-Dar Al-Kaberah and other areas in the southern countryside of Idlib. However, no casualties have been reported.

Meanwhile, regime forces shelled positions in Al-Fterah, Kansafra, Sfuhen, Fulayfel, Bayanin in southern Idlib, and other positions in Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of a rebel after being shot by regime forces on Jabal Al-Turkman frontlines in northern Latakia. Meanwhile, snipers of opposition factions shot dead two regime soldiers on frontlines of Idlib countryside.

SOHR sources monitored earlier in the afternoon regime artillery fire on rebel positions in Kabana area in Jabal Al-Akrad.

On the other hand, tense calm prevailed throughout the “de-escalation zone” for hours interrupted by attacks and exchange of fire between regime forces and opposition factions on several frontlines.
