Deir Ezzor | SDF and International Coalition arrest three persons for “belonging to ISIS”

A group of Syria Democratic Forces and International Coalition Forces stormed a house yesterday evening in Jadid Ekaydat village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The security forces arrested three people from the village for “belonging to ISIS”.

Yesterday, reliable sources informed SOHR that Syria Democratic Forces (SDF) raided and inspected the house of an ISIS leader named “Abu Walid al-Iraqi” in the village of Al-Razz in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

It is worth nothing that the leader had been arrested earlier by SDF on July 20, 2020.

A day earlier, Syrian Observatory sources said that SDF, backed by International Coalition helicopters, stormed al-Majid area in the town of Al-Sour in northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and asked the residents through loudspeakers to stay indoors, before they started the campaign.

The security campaign resulted in the arrest of a person accused of “belonging to the Islamic State”. Moreover, a person, who was a former member of the Turkish-backed factions and used to live in the “Euphrates Shield” areas in Aleppo countryside before he recently returned to Al-Sour town, was killed, while his wife was injured during the campaign.

Meanwhile, the helicopters of the International Coalition targeted a warehouse of IEDs in the valley on the outskirts of Al-Sour town.
