“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces and rebels exchange rocket fire on frontlines in Sahl Al-Ghab and Jabal al-Zawiya

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored, this morning, a rocket attack by rebels on regime forces’ positions on Al-Mashari’e frontline in western countryside of Hama. No casualties have been reported. Meanwhile, regime forces have shelled areas in towns and villages in Jabal al-Zawiya in southern Idlib countryside.

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that a truck driver was killed on the international road near the city of Saraqeb, as regime forces opened fired on rented trucks used to transport equipment of Turkish post “Murek”, north of Hama. Syrian trucks entered from the area of Al-Tarnaba and headed to Saraqeb to reach the international road Damascus-Aleppo “M5”.
