Turkey’s military build-up | Forces bring in new reinforcement to “de-escalation zone”, as they continue their preparations to withdraw from posts in regime-held areas

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored the entry of a new military column of Turkish forces via Kafr Losin crossing, north of Idlib.

The column consists of 75 vehicles, carrying logistical and military equipment, heading towards Turkish observation posts in the area of “Putin-Erdogan”.

The number of military vehicles entered Syrian territory since the start of the new ceasefire has reached 7,265 in addition to thousands of Turkish soldiers.

From February 2 to date, the number of Trucks and military vehicles that arrived in “de-escalation zone” rose to more than 10,600 Turkish trucks and military vehicles arrived in Syrian territory, carrying tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles and mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars.
