Aleppo | Body of young man found west of Afrin, and rebels detonate IED in countryside

Aleppo Governorate- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that residents found the body of a young man lying in the water around the village of Al-Nissriya in Jandiras area, west of Afrin, a week after he went missing.

On the other hand, an explosion was heard in northern Aleppo countryside, as a result of the dismantling of an IED planted on the side of the Akhtarin-Al-Ra’i road in Azaz countryside, in the areas held by Turkish forces and proxy factions in Aleppo countryside. No casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported an explosion in the city of Afrin, which is under the control of Turkish forces and proxy factions, caused by a grenade explosion thrown by an unknown person near a hospital in the center of the city. No casualties have been reported.

Moreover, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a judge in the Azaz Military Court, as a result of injuries he sustained by an IED explosion in his car in Azaz yesterday. It is worth nothing that the judge is working in the Military Court of Azaz in northern Aleppo countryside since its founding and he is also one of the founders of the court.

On October 15, reliable SOHR sources confirmed that the “Military Police” opened fire on a member of the Turkish-backed “Al-Hamzat Division”, as he refused to stop at the police’s checkpoint in Azaz city, killing him immediately.
