In two separate incidents | Unknown gunmen attack two tribal leaders in eastern rural Deir ez-Zor

Deir ez-Zor governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that one of the elders of “Al-Mashahdeh” tribe was seriously injured today, after being targeted by unknown gunmen, near the railway on the outskirts of al-Sabha village in Deir ez-Zor eastern countryside.

Meanwhile, two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle targeted one of the elders of “Al-Rakywat” clan on the outskirts of the village of Al-Tawamia near al-Busayrah town in Deir al-Zour eastern countryside, seriously injuring him.

SOHR sources said today that two masked gunmen on a motorcycle opened machinegun fire on a “van” carrying officials of “Deir Ezzor Civil Council” in Al-Jay’aa village in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor. The attack left several officials injured.

Yesterday, SOHR activists said that an SDF member was killed, after two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle tried to kidnap him from the market of al-Busayrah city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, but the gunmen shot him dead after his resistance.
