“De-escalation zone” | Opposition factions repel regime attack on Fulayfel, south of Idlib

Syrian Observatory activists have reported fierce clashes on the frontlines of Fulayfel village in the southern countryside of Idlib between opposition factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on one hand, and regime forces and loyalists on the other, as a part of regime attack on positions of the factions. The clashes coincided with exchange of intensive bombardment, while the factions managed to repel the regime attack, amid confirmed reports of casualties on both sides.


Yesterday, Observatory sources documented the death of a member of the factions, as regime forces targeted frontlines of south Idlib countryside.


A woman was also injured in regime artillery fire on Al-Qarqour village in Sahl al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama.


Furthermore, regime forces renewed rocket attacks on positions in Idlib countryside, targeting Fulayfel village in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties were reported.
