In response to regime arrest of civilian woman in Damascus | Local factions in Al-Suwaidaa arrest regime officers and soldiers

Al-Suwaidaa Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported that local factions in Al-Suwaidaa arrested regime officers and soldiers, in response to arresting a civilian woman from Al-Suwaidaa by the regime’s security services in Damascus.

According to SOHR sources, local factions from Al-Suwaidaa deployed makeshift roadblocks this morning at Al-Basel square and Al-Sha’er roundabout in the north of Al-Suwaidaa city, where they arrested four officers and five soldiers affiliated to regime forces and took them to unknown destination. The local gunmen also held the regime affiliates’ cars.

This development came after a civilian woman, who is from Al-Qurayyah village in the south of Al-Suwaidaa city but lives in Damascus, was arrested by the regime’s security services in Damascus on Saturday for unknown reasons.
