New attack | Unknown assailants open fire on SDF checkpoint in eastern Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that two unknown gunmen on a motorcycle opened machinegun fire on and SDF checkpoint yesterday, in Al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

On Wednesday, Observatory activists documented the death of a dignitary of “Al-Rekyawat” tribe, succumbing to his wounds sustained in the attack by unknown gunmen a day earlier on the outskirts of Al-Tawamiyyah village in Al-Busayrah city. It is worth noting that the victim was taken to Al-Hasakah hospital just after being shot, but he died there on Wednesday.

 

As more fatalities are recorded and updated regularly, the number of people who were killed in areas within the four provinces of Aleppo, Deir Ezzor, Al-Raqqah and Al-Hasakah, in addition to the SDF-held area of Manbij in the north-east of Aleppo rose to 582 fighters, civilians, oil workers, and officials in service parties,

 

The Syrian Observatory documented the assassination of 205 civilians including 15 children and 11 women by armed cells in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, al-Hasakah countryside, al-Raqqah city and countryside, and Manbij area. In addition, 373 SDF fighters, including local leaders, were assassinated in the same areas.

 

Also, four members of International Coalition were killed. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Human also documented tens of injuries due to these assassinations.
