Routine patrols in Al-Raqqah | Russian forces tour surrounding areas of Tal Al-Samn

Syrian Observatory activists have reported seeing Russian forces running a patrol nearby Tal Al-Samn town in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah, as a part of routine patrols in northern and north-eastern Syria.

On October 17, SOHR activists monitored Russian forces conducting a patrol of two armoured vehicles nearby Abu Rasin (Zarkan). The patrol headed later towards Darbasiya in Al-Hasakah countryside in north-eastern Syria, and then returned to Qamishli city.

On October 13, SOHR sources reported that Russian forces conducted two separate military patrols in Al-Malikiyyah area (Dayrik) in the far north-eastern Syria, near Syria-Turkey border in Al-Hasakah countryside.

Both patrols, each comprising four armoured vehicles, toured the northern and western countryside of Al-Malikiyah countryside, as a patrol toured Ain Diwar village in northern Al-Malikiyyah, while the other toured Qasr Deeb and Kani Ni’mah villages in western and north-western Al-Malikiyyah.
