Landmine explosions | Five Turkish-backed militiamen killed and injured in rural Ain Issa, and SDF members attacked just after the explosion

SOHR sources say that two Turkish-backed militiamen were killed and three  others were injured today as a result of a landmine explosion in their military vehicle. The explosion was followed by an attack with heavy machineguns on SDF members on the frontlines of Tinah village near M4 highway in northern Al-Raqqah.

 

Meanwhile, another landmine exploded in a military vehicles which was on its way to evacuate the militiamen injured in the first explosion. However, the second explosion has left no casualties.

 

It is worth noting that SDF had planted landmines in this village which is located near the frontlines with the factions.

 

On the other hand, Turkish-backed factions renewed shelling the SDF-controlled villages of Houshan and Al-Khalidiyyah in Ain Issa countryside. No casualties have been reported.

 

A few hours ago, Observatory activists reported that Turkish forces fired several artillery shells on Houshan and Al-Khalidiyyah villages in Ain Issa countryside in northern Al-Raqqah.
