Feuding factions | Armed fight erupts between Ankara-backed factions in Jandiras, and explosion targets military headquarters in Afrin

Aleppo Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored an exchange of fire between a group affiliated with Ahrar al-Sham and members of “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” faction, in the area of Jandiras in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo. No information has been reported on the causes of the dispute.

Meanwhile, two gunmen on a motorcycle threw a grenade at one of the headquarters of “Al-Majd Corps” faction in Ashrafieh neighbourhood in Afrin, injuring one of the headquarters’s guards and a child who happened to pass by the area.

On October 20, SOHR activists said that a young man was found dead and lying in the water nearby Al-Nissriya village in Jendires area, west of Afrin, a week after he went missing.

Moreover, an explosion was heard in the northern Aleppo countryside, caused by the dismantling of an IED planted on the side of the road of Akhtarin-Al-Ra’ai in Azaz countryside, within the areas controlled by Turkish forces and proxy factions in Aleppo countryside.
