Ceasefire violations | Rebels shell regime positions in southern Idlib, and Iranian-backed militiaman dies of his wounds in earlier shelling in eastern Idlib

Syrian Observatory activists have documented the death of a militiaman of the Lebanese Hezbollah, succumbing to his wounds sustained in earlier shelling by opposition factions a few days ago, targeting regime positions on frontlines of Saraqeb city in eastern Idlib.

 

Meanwhile, SOHR sources say that opposition factions shelled with artillery regime positions in Al-Dar Al-Kabera in southern Idlib. However, no casualties have been reported.

 

A few hours ago, Observatory activists monitored artillery shelling by regime forces on the villages of Sermaniyah and Dweir al-Akrad in the north-western countryside of Hama, as well as the villages of Billioon and al-Bara in Jabal al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

 

SOHR sources also said that opposition factions operating under the banner of “Al-Fateh Al-Mubin” operations room targeted, with missiles and machineguns, a military column belonging to regime forces, as it was heading to the city of Kafranbel in southern countryside of Idlib.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the attack left three regime soldiers dead and several others injured.
