After regime attack on SDF military post | International Coalition jets strike the source of fire in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: International Coalition jets struck regime positions in Al-Quriyyah town on the Euphrates river’s bank, as regime forces stationed in these positions had attacked, with heavy machineguns and RPGs, a military post of the SDF-affiliated “Self-Defense Forces” in Al-Tayyanahtown in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. No casualties have been reported so far.

 

On September 25, SOHR activists said that several mortars fell near SDF’s Self-Defense Forces’ post in the village of Al-Dahla in Deir Ezzor countryside.

 

According to Observatory sources, the mortars were fired by regime forces stationed on the opposite bank of the Euphrates River, while SDF responded to regime shelling by targeting the fire sources.

 

While on August 18, SOHR sources said that regime forces and loyalists opened fire indiscriminately on posts of SDF and International Coalition in the south of Koniko oil field in Deir Ezzor countryside. No casualties were reported.

 

Syrian Observatory activists also monitored on August 14 an exchange of fire between SDF members stationed at the Euphrates river’s bank, west of al-Tayyanah town in eastern Deir Ezzor, and regime forces stationed on the river’s west bank, but no casualties were reported.
