Deteriorating security in rebel-held areas | Gunman killed in family fight in northern Aleppo

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: A gunman was killed and others were injured in clashes this evening between two families in the Turkish-controlled village of Shamarin in the northern countryside of Aleppo. Light and medium weapons were used during these clashes which witnessed the burning of several public and private properties in the village.

 

Meanwhile, several columns of the Turkish-backed police arrived in the village to defuse the disagreement between the conflicting families. However, tension is still growing.

 

Yesterday,  Observatory sources reported an exchange of fire between a group affiliated with Ahrar al-Sham and members of “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” faction, in Jendires area in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo.
