Aleppo | As positions in rural Manbij come under attack, clashes erupt between Turkish-backed factions and “Manbij Military Council Forces”

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have reported rocket attacks by Turkish forces stationed in Al-Yashili village, Sheikh Nasser, and the villages of Jableh, Al-Sayyadah, Kurhayouk and Al-Kawikly in rural Manbij in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

The Turkish bombardment coincides with clashes with medium and heavy machineguns between Turkish-backed factions on one hand, and the SDF-backed “Manbij Military Council Forces” and regime forces stationed in these areas on the other. However, no casualties have been reported so far.

On October 24, SOHR sources reported that positions of the SDF-affiliated “Manbij Military Council” in Al-Sajour in the eastern countryside of Aleppo came under the Turkish fire.

Turkish forces and their proxies also shelled Houshariyyah Tukhar and Awn Al-Dadat villages in areas under the control of the SDF-affiliated “Al-Bab Military Council”, which caused material damage, but no casualties were reported.
