Regime artillery fire | Man and woman killed and others injured in rural Aleppo

A man and a woman were killed, while three others were injured, including a child, in regime artillery fire by regime forces this evening on Tadel town in the western countryside of Aleppo.

Meanwhile, SOHR sources say that regime forces shelled with artillery Areha city, Al-Bara, Balyoun and Kafr Oweid in Idlib countryside.

On the other hand, opposition factions have targeted, with rockets and artillery shells, regime positions in over 40 sites in the countryside of Aleppo, Idlib, Latakia and Hama since last night.

SOHR activists had documented human losses among regime forces and loyal militias in this intensive bombardment, as the total number of fatalities as a result of shelling and attacks since last night reached 15, and the fatalities could be categorised according to areas as follows:

  • Idlib: six fatalities (three in Saraqeb and three in Kafr Nubl).

  • Latakia mountains: four fatalities.

  • Hama countryside: three fatalities.

  • Aleppo: two fatalities.

Moreover, a rebel was killed today in regime shelling on frontlines of Saraqeb city.
