Al-Bab | Clashes erupt between Turkish-backed factions and “Al-Bab Military Council”, as Turkish forces shell positions in the city’s countryside

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have monitored clashes with medium and heavy weapons between Turkish-backed factions and the SDF-backed “Al-Bab Military Council” on the frontlines of Al-Bughaz and Al-Amaji villages in the west of Al-Aremah district in the countryside of Al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo.

The clashes coincided with shelling by Turkish military bases in Aleppo countryside, targeting the conflict zones, but no casualties have been reported so far.

On October 26, SOHR activists reported rocket attacks by Turkish forces stationed in Al-Yashili village, Sheikh Nasser, and the villages of Jableh, Al-Sayyadah, Kurhayouk and Al-Kawikly in rural Manbij in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

The Turkish bombardment coincided with clashes with medium and heavy machineguns between Turkish-backed factions on one hand, and the SDF-backed “Manbij Military Council Forces” and regime forces stationed in these areas on the other.
