For second time in a few hours | Unidentified body found in Daraa

Daraa governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that residents of Daraa town found, this morning, an unidentified body in al-Shayah area on the outskirts of Daraa al-Balad, with gunshot marks. The body was taken to the hospital of Al-Sadd neighbourhood until the body is identified.

Observatory sources said, yesterday evening, that residents found the remains of an unidentified decomposing body in Al-Nakhleh area near Daraa al-Balad, as security chaos escalates throughout Daraa governorate.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, landmines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from last June to date, to more than 738 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 487 persons, 136 of whom are civilians, including 12 women and 15 children, in addition to 213 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

92 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 23 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to 22 members of so-called “Fifth Corps”.
