Turkey’s military build-up | Forces bring in new reinforcement to “de-escalation zone”, and detonate landmine in Ariha area in southern Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored the entry of a new military column of Turkish forces via Kafr Losin crossing, north of Idlib. The column headed towards observation posts in the area of “Putin-Erdogan”.

The column consists of 50 armoured vehicles, carrying heavy guns and various military vehicles.

On the other hand, Turkish forces detonated a landmine in Ariha area in the southern Idlib countryside.

Turkish troops have deployed, this afternoon, near the town of Bdama, west of Idlib, on the Aleppo-Latakia road “M4”, in preparation for stationing there.

The number of military vehicles entered Syrian territory since the start of the new ceasefire has reached 7,375 in addition to thousands of Turkish soldiers.

From February 2 to date, the number of Trucks and military vehicles that arrived in “de-escalation zone” rose to more than 10,710 Turkish trucks and military vehicles arrived in Syrian territory, carrying tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles and mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars.
