Idlib | Rebels and jihadist factions shell regime forces’ positions on southern frontlines

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored a rocket attack by rebels and jihadist factions targeting regime positions in Hazarin and Al-Maljqa in the southern countryside of Idlib, coinciding with a rocket attack by regime forces targeting various areas in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib. One of the shells hit a car of civilians working in harvesting olive in the area of Al-Bara town in Jabal al-Zawiya in southern Idlib countryside, but no casualties have been reported.

The Syrian Observatory has monitored this morning Russian reconnaissance drones flying over Idlib province in the “de-escalation zone”, coinciding with the renewed rocket shelling by regime forces on areas near Al-Baraa, Kafr Aweid, Al-Fatira, Kansafra, Safohin and Fleifel in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of regime soldier after being targeted by factions on the Harsh Kafranbel frontline in the southern countryside of Idlib.
