“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces shell positions in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, while Russian reconnaissance drones fly over the area

SOHR sources have reported that regime forces shelled, with heavy artillery, Kansafrah town, the villages of Sfuhen, Kafr Oweid and Al-Mawzarah in Jabal Al-Zawiyah. No casualties have been reported so far.

 

Meanwhile, Russian reconnaissance drones were seen flying over the “de-escalation zone”.

 

A few hours ago, SOHR sources monitored rocket attacks by rebels and jihadist factions targeting regime positions in Hazarin and Al-Maljqa in the southern countryside of Idlib. One of the rebels’ shells hit a car of civilians working in harvesting olive in Al-Bara town in Jabal al-Zawiyah, but no casualties were reported.

 

Observatory activists monitored earlier this morning Russian reconnaissance drones flying over Idlib province in the “de-escalation zone”, along with renewed rocket attacks by regime forces on positions in Jabal Al-Zawiyah.
