South of Idlib | Clashes between rebels and regime forces leave casualties on Benin frontline

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored clashes between factions and HTS on the one hand, and regime forces and loyal militiamen on the other, on frontline of Harsh Binin in southern countryside of Idlib, in an attempt by regime forces and loyal militiamen to advance, accompanied by shelling and exchange of fire, while the factions were able to repel the attack.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented casualties on both sides. Two regime soldiers were killed and several others were wounded, while four opposition fighters were wounded.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory monitored rocket attacks by regime forces on areas in the town of Kansafra, the villages of Safohn, Kafr Aweid and Al-Mozra in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern Idlib countryside. No casualties were reported so far.

Meanwhile, the “de-escalation zone” has witnessed frequent flights by Russian reconnaissance drones.
