With RPGs and machine guns | Unknown assailants target Tasil municipality used by Hezbollah-backed militias as headquarters in eastern Daraa
Daraa governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
SOHR sources say that unknown gunmen targeted, this morning, the municipality of Tasil town in Daraa eastern countryside, with RPGs then opened fire on the building using machine guns. No casualties have been reported so far. It is worth nothing that the municipality is used as headquarters by Air-Force Intelligence and militias loyal to the Lebanese Hezbollah.
This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, landmines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from last June to date, to more than 741 attacks.
While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 489 persons, 136 of whom are civilians, including 12 women and 15 children, in addition to 215 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.
93 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 23 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to 22 members of so-called “Fifth Corps”.
