Aleppo | “Al-Hamzat Division” kills civilian while chasing ISIS fugitives from prison in al-Bab

Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the killing of a civilian by members of “Al-Hamzat Division”, after members of the faction chased prisoners of the “Islamic State” who escaped from one of the Division’s prisons in the city of Al-Bab, which is controlled by Turkish forces and proxy factions in the eastern Aleppo countryside.

On April 27, reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that eight prisoners of the Islamic State mysteriously escaped from a prison belonging to Turkish-backed “Al-Hamza Division” in the city of Al-Bab, northeast of Aleppo, amid accusations that their jailers were paid for facilitating their escape.
