Military patrols | U.S. forces conduct new patrol near Al-Malikia city (Derek) in Al-Hasakah countryside

Observatory sources have monitored U.S. forces conducting a routine military patrol near the city of Al-Malikia (Direk) in north-eastern Syria, as part of their routine movements in the area.

On October 16, the Syrian Observatory monitored U.S. forces conducting a military patrol in the town of Al-Malikia, and then headed to a post of regime forces near Ain Dewar in the countryside of al-Malikia and talked with regime soldiers, before leaving the area, coinciding with the flight of the International Coalition helicopters over the area.
