Idlib | Regime forces and rebels trade fire on several frontlines

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored regime artillery fire pounding Bayanin village, Hursh Bayanin, Al-Ruwayha, the surrounding areas of Deir Sonbol in Idlib countryside, and other positions on Sahl Al-Ghab in Hama countryside.

Meanwhile, opposition factions responded by shelling regime positions in Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, Al-Dana and Al-Jaradah villages in Idlib countryside. However, no casualties have been reported.

Syrian Observatory activists had documented the death of three members of Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic Movement in regime shelling on the frontlines of Deir Sonbol town in the east of Jabal Al-Zawiyah in Idlib countryside.

Regime forces also renewed artillery fire on Jabal Al-Zawiyah, targeting Kansafrah town and Kafr Oweid village, along with frequent flights by reconnaissance drones over the area.

On the other hand, opposition factions shelled regime positions on the frontlines of Jabal Al-Zawiyah.

A few hours earlier, SOHR activists documented the death of a civilian in Tal Tunah village near Maarrat Misrin city, after a drone attack on a workshop for harvesting olive.

Meanwhile, two other men and a woman sustained various injuries, after a similar drone attack on a workshop in Nahla village in Areha.

SOHR sources also reported earlier this morning a new round of regime bombardment on villages in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in rural Idlib.
