Security chaos in Daraa | Unidentified gunmen kill young man west of the city

Daraa Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists have reported that unidentified gunmen forced a young man to leave a passenger bus, while he was returning from Daraa city on the road to the town of Al-Muzayrip in western countryside of Daraa, and then shot him killing him immediately.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the young man who was killed has not been identified, and his body was taken to Tafas city hospital in Daraa countryside.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, landmines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from last June to date, to more than 742 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 491 persons, 136 of whom are civilians, including 12 women and 15 children, in addition to 216 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

93 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 23 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to 22 members of so-called “Fifth Corps”.
