Al-Suwaidaa | Regime forces deploy troops near governorate building, after activists’ calls to protest deteriorating living conditions

Al-Suwaidaa Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable sources have informed SOHR that a group of activists on social media have called upon the residents of Al-Suwaidaa to demonstrate today, protesting the deteriorating living conditions in the province.

On the other hand, SOHR sources have reported intensive deployment of regime forces this morning nearby Al-Suwaidaa governorate building in the wake of these calls.

On October 2, reliable SOHR sources confirmed that unknown individuals blotched a poster of the Syrian regime president “Bashar Al-Assad” with red paint. It is worth noting that the poster had been placed by the “National Defence Forces” (NDF) in a street in Al-Suwaidaa city in southern Syria region.
