Turkey’s military movement | New military column enters Idlib countryside villages, as forces continue their preparations to withdraw from Sher Maghar post
Observatory sources have monitored a Turkish military column, comprising military vehicles and logistical equipment, entering the villages of Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib. The column headed towards the new Turkish military post in the village of Qoqfin.
On the other hand, Turkish forces continue to complete their withdrawal from Sher Maghar post in Jabal Shahshabo, north-west of Hama province, to the military post in the village of Qoqfin in the southern countryside of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored the complete evacuation of the ninth Turkish observation post in Murek, while the Syrian regime’s flag was raised at the post. This comes 10 days after Turkish forces began dismantling the post.
It is worth nothing that Turkish forces set up this post on April 7, 2018, 30 months ago. Murek post is Turkey’s biggest military post in the “Putin-Erdogan” region.
On October 29, reliable sources informed SOHR that Turkish forces transported most of the contents of their observation post in Murek town to military posts in Idlib countryside.
According to SOHR sources, the Turkish forces have empted the post of all military and logistical supplies, leaving parts of the perimeter wall. Meanwhile, Turkish forces sabotaged the plot of land on which the post were established, and destroyed large parts of the buildings there.
It is worth noting that Turkish forces started dismantling the ninth observation posy on October 19, 2020, and evacuating large equipment and machineries.
