Armed attack | Unknown gunmen shoot dead Turkish-backed militiaman in rural Afrin
Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Syrian Observatory activists have reported an armed attack by unknown gunmen in the early hours of Wednesday morning on a military vehicle affiliated to the Turkish-backed “National Army” in Sharran district in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo. The attack left a Turkish-backed fighter, while others sustained various injuries.
On October 30, SOHR activists documented the death of two persons while attempting to blow up military headquarters affiliated to the Turkish-backed Al-Sham Corps nearby Al-Basutah village in the Turkish-controlled city of Afrin.
According to SOHR sources, the explosive devices had exploded before the attackers finished booby-trapping the headquarters. The explosion also injured a member of Al-Sham Corps.
On October 26, SOHR sources reported that a motorcycle-bomb went off in Jendires street in the Turkish-controlled city of Afrin in Aleppo countryside, which killed two civilians and injured five others, including children.
