Ceasefire violations | Regime forces continue shelling positions in Idlib, and target Turkish post in Jabal Al-Zawiyah

Syrian Observatory sources say that regime forces fired several rockets on the Turkish post in Sarjah area in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. it is worth noting that the rockets hit the inside and surroundings of the Turkish post, but no casualties have been reported.

 

Regime forces also shelled positions in Bayanin and Mantaf in the southern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, opposition factions and jihadi groups shelled regime positions in the southern and eastern countryside of Idlib, amid reports of casualties.

 

SOHR activists documented earlier this morning the death of seven civilians including four children and they are as follows: a child in Areha, a child in Idlib city and two displaced children from the southern countryside of Hama in Kafreya town.

 

The death toll is expected to rise further as the intensive rocket attacks has left nearly 20 persons injured, some seriously.

 

Regime forces started intensive rocket attacks this morning on Idlib, targeting with over 120 rockets and artillery shells several positions in Ihsim, Mar’yan, Nahlaya, Balshoun, Deir Sonbol, Al-Bara, Shanan, Al-Fterah in the southern countryside of Idlib, Kafriya, Al-Fu’ah in the eastern countryside of Idlib, and Idlib city and its outskirts.
