Ceasefire violations | Regime forces start new round of rocket attack in towns and villages on southern Idlib

SOHR sources say that regime forces renewed their rocket attacks on Idlib province in the early hours of Thursday morning, targeting Al-Fterah, Kansafrah and Sfuhen. Meanwhile, sporadic clashes erupted between regime forces and opposition factions on Fulayfel frontline in southern Idlib. The clashes were accompanied by exchange of shelling, but no casualties have been reported so far.

Yesterday, SOHR activists documented the death of two regime soldiers after being shot by members of the “al-Fateh al-Mubin” on frontlines of the 46th Regiment in the western countryside of Aleppo. Also, one regime loyalist was killed and another was injured in artillery shelling by the factions on their positions on the frontline of Maarshorin town in east Idlib countryside.

SOHR activists documented earlier that day the death of seven civilians including four children and they were as follows: a child in Areha, a child in Idlib city and two displaced children from the southern countryside of Hama in Kafreya town.

The death toll is expected to rise further as the intensive rocket attacks has left nearly 20 persons injured, some seriously.
