Routine patrols | Russian forces tour surrounding areas of Al-Malikiyyah (Dayrik) in north-eastern Al-Hasakah

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored a Russian patrol of five military vehicles escorted by two helicopters heading from Derna Aghi village to the border village of Batarzan in Aliyah area nearby Al-Malikiyyah city (Dayrik) in the north-eastern countryside of Al-Hasakah, near the Turkey-Syria border.

On October 31, SOHR sources monitored Russian military police patrolling the countryside of Al-Malkiyyah city (Dayrik), northeast of Hasakah. The Russian patrol consisted of four armoured vehicles escorted by two helicopters to secure air cover. The patrol crossed Sarmasakh Tahtani village and then headed to Sarmasakh Foqani village and the countryside of Ma’bada town in the east of Al-Qamishli.
