Afrin | Uncertainty surrounds explosion near military headquarters of Turkish-backed factions

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported hearing an unknown explosion in Al-Ashrafiyyah neighbourhood in Afrin city centre, near the headquarters of the Turkish-backed “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah”. No further details have been reported of the losses so far.

A few days ago, SOHR sources reported an armed attack by unknown gunmen on a military vehicle affiliated to the Turkish-backed “National Army” in Sharran district in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo. The attack left a Turkish-backed fighter, while others sustained various injuries.
