Idlib | Number of Russian airstrikes on Jabal Al-Zawiya rises to five

SOHR activists say that Russian airstrikes on Idlib province rose to five, targeting the outskirts of the towns of Benin and Shenan in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, but no casualties have been reported to date. The attack coincided with the flight of Russian reconnaissance drones over the southern countryside of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored earlier at least two airstrikes by Russian jets targeting the vicinity of the village of Benin in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib, coinciding with ongoing flight by Russian jets over Idlib province.

This is the second time this month that Russian jets have targeted Jabal al-Zawiya.

On November 7, Observatory sources reported that Russian jets carried out about 15 raids, targeting Serja, Shenan, Farkia, Benin and Ihssim.

SOHR sources said earlier this morning that regime forces continued their rocket attacks on the area of “Putin-Adrogan”, targeting with rocket-propelled grenades areas in Al-Fatira, Kansafra, Safohin, the outskirts of Bara, Flaifel and Benin in the southern countryside of Idlib, and other areas in Sahl al-Ghab north-west of Hama.

On the other hand, clashes continued between regime forces and factions, on frontline of Khirbet al-Naqous in Sahl al-Ghab and lasted until the morning.
