Supportive protests in Daraa | Demonstrators call for regime forces withdrawal from the besieged Al-Karak Al-Sharqi

Daraa Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have monitored tens of residents demonstrating in Daraa Al-Balad, Nahteh and Al-Mata’iyyah in Daraa province as a part of “supportive protests” of Al-Karak Al-Sharqi town, which is besieged by regime forces in rural Daraa. The demonstrators called for the withdrawal of regime forces and loyalists from the region.

 

Observatory sources reported in the afternoon the arrival of new regime military reinforcement in their military positions in the surrounding areas of al-Karak al-Sharqi town in Daraa countryside, while the newly-arrived forces were seen on high alert.

 

This development came after the events that took place in the area and other areas in Daraa in the past few days.
