Security chaos | Unknown gunmen kidnap family and kill the father in eastern Hama

Hama Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported that unknown gunmen, believed to be pro-regime militiamen, stormed a house this dawn in Al-Jadou’iyah village in east Hama countryside arresting the entire family (a man, his wife and their sons). The father was found dead later a few metres away from his house and the mother was released hours after the kidnapping, while the fate of their sons remained unknown.

This incident coincides with the escalating security chaos and the broad deployment of militiamen loyal to regime forces, Iran, Russia or the tribal militias, since each power is attempting to impose its influence at the expense of the others, not to mention ISIS escalating activities in the region.

On September 20, SOHR activists said that an armed group, believed to be ISIS members, kidnapped three civilians from the eastern countryside of Hama in the farms of Bayoud village in Al-Sa’an area. The gunmen stole about 30 sheep and cars loaded with onion.
