Al-Dayri farm’s operation | Some 20 people killed and captured of Turkish forces and factions, amid Russian discontent with SDF

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has revealed through its sources, new information about the operation carried out by special forces of the Syrian Democratic Forces, two days ago in Abu Rasin countryside (Zarkan).

The death toll of Ankara-backed factions rose to 15, who have been killed during shelling and infiltration attempt by SDF, during which SDF was able to blow up the headquarters of a meeting of Ankara-backed factions in al-Dayri farm in Abu Rasin countryside, while the infiltrated forces managed to capture three members of the factions.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, SDF has two pictures of two Turkish soldiers killed during the operation. Observatory sources added that Russian forces expressed their discontent with the SDF operation through contact with the leadership of SDF, as there is an agreement between the two parties that such attacks should not be carried out.

Two days ago, reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that units of SDF special forces sneaked into a position of Turkish-backed factions in Al-Dayri farm and blew up their headquarters, during a meet comprised nearly 20 militiamen. The infiltration operation resulted in the death of more than five militiamen and injury of others.

SOHR activists have just documented the death of five Turkish-backed militiamen in SDF bombardment on their positions in Al-Dayri farm in Abu Rasin countryside. While an SDF fighter was killed and three regime soldiers were injured, including a lieutenant, in shelling by Turkish forces and their proxies on positions in Dada Abdal in the same countryside.
