For third time in less than a week | Russian jets pound Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored Russian fighter jets executing airstrikes on the vicinity of Al-Bara and Ihssim in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern Idlib countryside, coinciding with intensive shelling by the regime forces with rocket-propelled grenades on the villages and towns of Sarja, Benin and Deir Sunbul on the eastern outskirts of Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern Idlib countryside. No casualties have been reported.

This is the third time that Russian jets have targeted Jabal Zawiya in less than a week.

SOHR activists said, on Tuesday, that Russian airstrikes on Idlib province rose to five, targeting the outskirts of the towns of Benin and Shenan.

On November 7, Observatory sources reported that Russian jets carried out about 15 raids, targeting Serja, Shenan, Farkia, Benin and Ihssim.
