Regime attack | Forces renew shelling Jabal al-Zawiya, targeting the perimeter of Turkish post in Ihssim
Regime forces renewed their rocket attacks on the southern countryside of Idlib. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored the fall of rocket-propelled grenades fired by regime forces on areas around the Turkish post in the town of Ihssim within Jabal al-Zawiya.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored, this morning, renewed rocket attacks by regime forces on areas in the Idlib countryside. Rocket-propelled grenades hit areas in Al-Fatira, Kansafra, Safohin, Fleifel, al-Bara and Benin, south of Idlib. No casualties have been reported so far.
Yesterday, Russian fighter jets executed four airstrikes using high-explosive missiles, targeting the western bushes of Idlib city, a few minutes after targeting the same area with a surface-to-surface missile fired by the Russian base of Hmeimim in Latakia countryside. No casualties have been reported so far.
According to local sources, members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham prevented rescue teams from entering the targeted site, as there have been no casualties.
It is worth noting that the area is under the control of HTS and it is considered as a camp for training fighters. However, the military forces withdrew earlier from this site after the repeated attacks on the region.
