Western Daraa countryside | Unknown gunmen assassinate two soldiers of 4th Division

Daraa Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

In light of the continuous attacks on regime forces and collaborators with its security services in all areas of Daraa, the Syrian Observatory has monitored a new assassination on two members of the “Fourth Division”, headed by the brother of the head of the Syrian regime, by shooting at them by unknown gunmen in the town of Tel Shihab in western countryside of Daraa.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, landmines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from last June to date, to more than 762 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 500 persons, 138 of whom are civilians, including 12 women and 15 children, in addition to 220 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

94 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 23 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to 24 members of so-called “Fifth Corps”.
