Aleppo | Turkish forces shell villages in Kurdish-held areas, and clashes erupt on frontlines in northern countryside

Aleppo Province- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that Turkish forces and proxy Turkish factions shelled the villages of Al-Malikia, Maranaz, Shawargha and Shawargha Castle in the northern Aleppo countryside, coinciding with sporadic clashes between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions on frontlines. No casualties have been reported so far.

SOHR activists have documented the death of a woman this afternoon, after being shot by snipers of the Kurdish forces near Mar’naaz village in the northern countryside of Aleppo. It is worth noting that the victim was working on a farmland near the frontlines between the Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions when she was shot dead.

On Friday, Observatory sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions shelled, with heavy artillery and mortars, the Kurdish-controlled villages of Mar’anaz, Shawarghah, Al-Malikyyah and Aqlamiyyah in the northern countryside of Aleppo. No casualties were reported.
