After the release of 120 families from al-Hawl camp | Unidentified gunmen assassinate collaborator with Internal Security Forces in the camp

Al-Hasaka Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that a Syrian citizen who was cooperating with the Internal Security Forces was killed this morning, after being shot by unknown gunmen in the third section of al-Hawl camp, east of Hasaka, coinciding with the release of 120 families by the Self-Administration from al-Hawl camp in Al-Hasakah countryside, most of them are residents from Deir ez-Zor province, under tribal elders’ guarantees. The number of new batch released is estimated at about 515 people.

On November 14, unidentified gunmen targeted a young man of Iraqi nationality who was working as a night guard in the first section for Iraqi refugees in al-Hawll camp in Hasakeh countryside, injuring him.

This brings the number of assassinations in November to five, as security chaos continues in al-Hawl camp, as IS families attempt to flee by luring guards with money.

On November 12, Observatory sources reported that unidentified gunmen assassinated the head of “Iraqi Refugee Council” who was cooperating with Internal Security Forces in al-Hawl camp, southeast of Hasakeh province.

On November 8, unidentified gunmen, believed to be ISIS cells, assassinated with a silencer gun a collaborator with the Internal Security Forces of Iraqi nationality, in the third section of al-Hawl camp in the far southeast of Hasakeh.

On November 5, unidentified gunmen, believed to be ISIS cells, assassinated with a silencer gun a collaborator with the SDF’s Internal Security Forces of Iraqi nationality, in the first section of the camp.
