Turkey’s military escalation on Al-Raqqah | Residents stage vigil near Russian base in Ain Issa, denouncing Russia’s silence

Al-Raqqah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have monitored residents of Ain Issa district in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah staging a vigil near the Russian military base in the town, denouncing Russia’s silence and inaction towards the escalating Turkish bombardment on the region.

 

Yesterday, Observatory activists documented the injury of three civilians in rocket attacks by Turkish forces and their proxy factions on Ain Issa district in the north of Al-Raqqah. SOHR sources had reported that Turkish forces and their proxies renewed their rocket attacks on Ain Issa town and surrounding areas in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah, but no casualties were reported.
