Turkey’s military escalation | Turkish forces establish military base two kilometres away from Ain Issa town

Al-Raqqah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Reliable sources in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah have informed SOHR that Turkish forces started establishing a new military base in Tamameeh village in rural Ain Issa, nearly two kilometres away from Ain Issa district which is under the control of Syria Democratic Forces and regime forces. Meanwhile, Turkish forces started bringing in logistical supplies and building materials to the area.

This development coincides with the escalating bombardment and attacks by Turkish forces and their proxies on Ain Issa town and countryside, as SOHR activists documented the injury of three civilians in rocket attacks by Turkish forces and their proxy factions on Ain Issa district in the north of Al-Raqqah.
