“De-escalation zone” | Regime forces renew shelling Jabal Al-Zawiyah, while reconnaissance drones fly over the area

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored reconnaissance drones flying over Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, regime forces renewed their shelling in the early hours of Friday morning, targeting positions in Bayanin, Kansafra, Al-Fterah, Kafr Oweid and Sfuhen in southern Idlib, but no casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR activists said that Turkish forces stationed at Al-Mastuma camp near Idlib city targeted the regime-controlled town of Saraqeb with three artillery shells.

In this context, SOHR sources reported exchange of fire between regime forces and opposition factions, where regime forces shelled rebel positions west of Saraqeb, while the factions responded by shelling regime positions in and around the city. No casualties were reported.
