Confirming continued logistical and military support of SDF | Representatives of U.S. State Department and International Coalition meet with SDF and Deir ez-Zor Military and Civil Councils

Representatives of the U.S. State Department and military representatives of the International Coalition met with SDF and leaders of the Deir ez-Zor Military and Civil Council, this morning, at Al-Omar oil field base in eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour, to talk about recent developments in the fight against terrorism and against sleeper cells of the Islamic State and ways to support the region’s infrastructure.

The U.S. and the International Coalition also confirmed their continued support for SDF logistically and militarily, and the Civilian Council in Deir ez-Zor to improve the region’s situation.
