Al-Raqqah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have reported renewed rocket attacks by Turkish forces and their proxy factions in the afternoon, targeting Ain Issa camp and surrounding areas which are under the control of Syria Democratic Forces in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah.

The rocket fire hit these areas as a Russian patrol was passing, which prompted the Russian patrol to return to its base in Ain Issa, amid growing popular discontent over the repeated Turkish attacks and Russia’s inaction.

On Thursday, reliable sources in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah informed SOHR that Turkish forces started establishing a new military base in Tamameeh village in rural Ain Issa, nearly two kilometres away from Ain Issa district, which is under the control of Syria Democratic Forces and regime forces. Meanwhile, Turkish forces started bringing in logistical supplies and building materials to the area.
