Regime attacks | Forces renew shelling southern Idlib countryside, targeting five towns and villages

Regime forces continue to violate the ceasefire allegedly implemented in the area of “Putin-Erdogan”, targeting, this morning, areas in Al-Fatira, Kansafra, the outskirts of Al-Bara, Safohin and Aleppo in southern countryside of Idlib with rocket-propelled grenades. No casualties have been reported. Meanwhile, reconnaissance drones were seen flying over the region.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported clashes between regime forces and loyalists on one hand, and opposition factions and jihadi groups on the other, on the frontlines of Al-Fatera in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

The clashes, which lasted for hours and were accompanied by exchange of shelling, erupted in the early hours of Saturday morning after an attack by regime forces on rebel positions, leaving several casualties on both sides.
